      private open-air bath
      remote location
      shuttle service confusion

      The private open-air bath was a nice experience.

      Unfortunately, the location was quite remote. The timing and arrangements for the shuttle were unclear, as I had to coordinate with staff to set up departures, unlike what I anticipated based on the website. I was disappointed that there were no additional public onsen options to explore, as I was expecting a more authentic ryokan experience.

      beautiful views
      spacious room
      delicious breakfast
      shuttle confusion
      limited variety

      The Japanese-Style Family Room with Open-Air Bath felt spacious and cute with tatami floors. The private bath offered fine views of the mountains. Enjoyed the massage chair after a long day exploring. The dinner was a highlight, with beautifully presented kaiseki dishes that delighted my palate. Breakfast options included both Japanese and Western foods. Locating the shuttle bus stop was quite challenging, which caused frustration upon arriving. The food at the buffet breakfast lacked variety after a few days, missing some excitement. These issues detracted from an otherwise splendid experience.

      Consider booking a traditional tatami room for an authentic experience, and don't miss the kaiseki dinner, beautifully presented and delicious.

      really good kaiseki
      older facilities

      The kaiseki dinner was a culinary experience, but

      I found the dinner served in the restaurant rather than our room a bit disappointing. The quality of each dish was really good, and the presentation was beautiful. The surrounding scenery was peaceful was great, although the public areas felt a tad older.

      helpful staff
      delicious dining
      crowded facilities
      ambiance issues

      Both lovable and frustrating

      The staff excelled in kindness. The exquisite kaiseki dinner and vibrant buffet breakfast were both highlights that delighted our taste buds.

      The hot spring facilities felt a bit crowded during peak times, which detracted from the relaxing ambiance.

      private open-air bath
      mountain views
      variety of breakfast dishes
      transportation access
      modern hotel appearance

      The stay was a fantastic way to unwind and immerse myself in nature. I particularly enjoyed the private open-air bath with stunning views of the mountains, the sounds from the nearby river added a nice touch. The beautiful location right next to a little river with waterfalls. Although it was a bit of a trek to get to public transportation, the serene environment made it worthwhile. Plus, the breakfast spread was good and had a great variety of traditional Japanese dishes to kickstart the day.

      The private onsen experience was good, with the added bonus of beautiful mountain views while soaking. The staff were accommodating, even offering a discount when we missed dinner. The kaiseki dinner was exquisitely presented and delicious, while the breakfast buffet had an excellent variety of both Japanese and Western foods.

      The hotel is located in a beautiful mountainous area, providing stunning views from the rooms and outdoor baths. The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly and provide excellent service, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. The value for money at this hotel is exceptional, with affordable prices for the rooms that offer great amenities, such as outdoor baths and massage chairs. Staying at this traditional Japanese resort in the suburbs of Osaka was an unforgettable experience. From the stunning onsen that provided nature bathing to the delicious kaiseki feast, everything was perfect. the hotel's shuttle service made it easy to get there, and the mountainous surroundings were breathtaking. the comfortable tatami rooms were a great way to experience Japanese culture, and the buffet breakfast had a wide variety of Japanese delicacies to try. the open-air baths and massage chair were great advantages to the room.

      Although the location was beautiful, the hotel's distance from the city center made it difficult to explore Osaka more fully.

      The traditional ryokan experience was authentic, and the kaiseki dinner in the private room was a highlight. The onsen was fine, both inside and outside. The staff, although with limited English, were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and traditional stay.
